Fantoni produces MDF and fibreboard in Osoppo, north-east Italy, and uses the same manufacturing expertise across acoustic interior systems. Its 4akustik range is designed for spaces such as offices, schools, lecture halls and public interiors where acoustic performance is part of the specification.
The MDF range covers fire-resistant, moisture-resistant and lightweight grades, and black-core panels. Different panels are designed for different levels of machining, finishing and technical performance.
Fantoni also generates a significant share of its own energy. Eight hydroelectric plants produce around 60 million kWh a year, while 27,254 rooftop solar panels add 13.37 GWh. Three thermal plants use production offcuts, and the energy-management system is certified to ISO 50001.
For project teams, those figures matter when energy use and environmental performance have to be documented. The useful part is that the manufacturer's technical data is there when the specification needs it.
